I'll keep this brief.I was browsing Steam's MMO section and came across a game called AdventureQuest 3D. It has surprisingly positive reviews, recently 82% to be exact. It isn't on the front page of the MMO section, but looks to be fairly active and a lot are enjoying the game. Currently, AdventureQuest 3D is labeled as early access, and has been for over 2 years.Has anyone played this game?

Do you think it's something to get into? What are your thoughts? Here's a link to the game for reference:. It honestly depends. For someone like myself and a lot of player's it's very fun, but that's because I've been a long time Adventure Quest Worlds player. If you don't know AQ3D has a lot of the same zones, characters, and classes as AQW, but of course in a 3D version, so for someone like myself it's a lot of nostalgia to play thru these zones in a non 2D fashion, after playing AQW for years. For the standard person looking for an MMORPG it's just quite generic in it's current state honestly. Whole lot of kill this 10 times, collect this 5 times, etc.

Combat is OK it's tab target, but somewhat fast paced and entertaining (Pirate & Ninja class are cool) I will say the biggest pro of the game isn't even the game itself but the company. They're very loving and caring to their community, and take the time to communicate with their players, you can tell they love the game they're running, which is a breath of fresh air. Hey thanks for the comment. I finished up the starting zone and gotta say, the game is great.

I haven't played Adventure Quest Worlds, but it gives me Wizard101 vibes from when I was younger (minus the turn-based combat). There are kill X number of enemies quests, but the game transisions them in a non-intrusive way. The story itself is pretty entertaining so far.Looking at the website, it seems like the developers really care about this game, and there are very frequent updates.

I'll definitely be on AQ3D more often!. I just tried it a few days ago, I've been playing Artix games since.2006?

I go back to DragonFable and Mechquest every few months (bought the lifetime amulet/captain thing, so I have access to everything no matter what).Graphics are kinda cute, not the worse. I like how I can use all the classes on one character, although I'm not sure how to unlock the other classes, I know Guardian is locked unless you have a Guardian in their original AQ game.I do like the cross-progression between Mobile/PC versions, that is a plus I wasn't expecting. So it's free, a small download, and something I can play casually, not gonna complain. Although gave me an urge to play Wizard 101 again with that comment, that's on Steam as well, although you have to start a new account to use the Steam Version xD.
