This is the story of a boy who’s almost in his last year of high school. He had a childhood friend, Sayori, who was a cheerful and caring girl.
On one day she had a devious little plan: she’ll try to bribe his childhood friend into joining her club by offering a club member’s cupcakes. However, it didn’t go the way she planned. The boy declined her offer and firmly stated, he is not interested in joining a club about literature.Our story begins more than half a year later as both of them went about their lives separately. As fate would have it, the two of them meet on a sunny day. With Monika by her side, Sayori’s invites him again, but this time the plan is to go swimming together. It seemed like a one-off occurrence for him, but the very next day he finds himself in front of the four girls who’s company he unknowingly rejected. Try harder mavis staples. Like all the others, Monika is showing her distinct personality as a supportive leader when she thinks up a game they could all play together, so even the boy feels included.Will he be able to make the right choices to win over one of them?
