I'm not sure if it's too soon to start an 'official' thread of custom covers but I figured the earlier the better, right? Maybe not.Anyway, here goes:I felt that Brandon Phillips was the perfect cover star as he exemplifies everything a baseball player should be in that he is a true 5 tool player. BP is also the perfect cover athlete in that the Reds uniform is classic, white and red, matching the colors of a baseball. The quote, '.baseball in it's purest form.' Applies to the cover as much as it does 'The Show' series so I went with a clean, white and red look to further the motif.

Sony’s MLB: The Show is the best baseball simulator on the market today and the company is adding to the franchise with MLB 12: The Show. The cover for the game will feature Boston Red Sock Adrian Gonzalez, who will be the third Red Sock on the cover.
