For the month of March, our employee of the month is Mary Brown! Mary has worked at Nivano for about six months as a Customer Service Representative who assists members and providers with questions regarding claims, authorizations and eligibility. Her fellow coworkers nominated her due to her positive attitude and her ability to always put the patient first and advocate for each individual. She is a true team player who goes beyond what each member expects. In her spare time, she spends time with her family and tries to recreate traditional popular dishes.
Mary has learned the insurance process for all managed care lines of businesses and now understands how to navigate the Nivano portal while providing excellent customer service through the Q-Connect chat function. Our employee of the month for February is Gabby Miller! Gabby is Nivano’s Eligibility Specialist and has been with the company for a little over a year. She helps ensure that all of our members eligibility is correct and current.
She also assists with capitation payments. While working at Nivano Physicians, Gabby has learned to speak another language, how to master the Microsoft suite and what real teamwork looks like. In her spare time, she sleeps and eats handfuls of popcorn. She is an important piece to making sure we all succeed. Nivano is so thankful that Gabby is part of our team.

Our Employee of the month for January is Katie Lazarus! She is Nivano Physician’s Quality Management Supervisor and has been with the company for a year. She works closely with providers to improve their quality and HEDIS scores. Katie is a driving force among all employees and physicians.
Her knowledge and expertise has helped both Nivano and other physicians become successful with HEDIS scores. Katie has a background in Health insurance and is thankful she has learned all about how IPA’s work at Nivano. She loves working for a company where each employee can come together to achieve a goal. In her spare time, Katie enjoys spending time with her friends and family, trying new restaurants, especially spicy food, and playing mini golf with her children.

She has been with Nivano Physicians for 2 and a half years as a Clinical Coordinator. She reviews authorizations and manages grievances on a daily basis. She is a team player who is always very helpful and goes out of her way to help others.
Raven has learned so much in her short time with the company and enjoys that the management team is always willing to teach her new techniques. In her spare time, she spends time with her family and loves working on DIY crafts while listening to true crime podcasts.
